Tiga hari sebelum perkuliahan dimulai, sekelompok mahasiswa berencana untuk pergi ke empat pesta berbeda. Sebagai anggota tim baseball kampus yang masuk kampus lewat jalur beasiswa atlet, mereka semua lebih fokus bagaimana menjadi macho dan kompetitif. Tapi, sudahlah. Ini akhir pekan terakhir sebelum kehidupan “sebenarnya” akan dimulai. Menjadi dewasa bisa menunggu. Atau minimal, pelan-pelan saja. Nikmati hari ini!
Bagi yang sudah mengikuti film-film karya Richard Linklater mungkin film ini terlihat seperti film yang melambungkan namanya dulu: Dazed and Confused dan Richard Linklater pun tidak menyangkalnya di mana ia mengatakan bahwa film ini adalah “sequel-spiritual” dari film bergenre komedi SMA-nya produksi tahun 1993 itu.

Three days before college started, a group of college baseball players are planning to go to four different parties. For those of you that have been following Richard Linklater works you might find similarity from his earlier film “Dazed and Confused” and he doesn’t deny it, he has described that Everybody Wants Some!! as a “spiritual-sequel” to his 1993 high-school comedy.
