Hidup Mik (11 tahun) berubah total ketika ayahnya dikirim ke panti rehabilitasi dan kakaknya dipenjara. Mik pindah dari Stockholm untuk tinggal bersama Bibi Lena di daerah liar bersalju di Swedia. Meskipun menjalani hidup yang bertolak belakang dengan hidupnya di kota, di desa ini ia mempunyai teman dan bahkan jatuh cinta. Tepat ketika ia mulai merasa betah seperti di rumah, petugas sosial datang untuk membawanya pergi ke tempat orang tua asuh.

Mik (11-year old) faces turbulent changes in his life when his father is sent to a clinic for alcohol-related problems, while his older brother is arrested. Mik is sent off from Stockholm to live with his Aunt Lena in the snow-bound wilderness of Sweden. Despite the contrast between the city and this small village, he manages to make friends and even fall in love. But, just when he starts to feel at home, social services comes to take him away to a foster home.
Debuting director Martin Högdahl and writer Petra Revenue successfully create an enjoyable rock-n-roll film.
