Europe on Screen 2017


Europe on Screen is back in kineforum​ this year. In 7 days (8 - 14 May 2017), you get to enjoy the many faces of Europe through 33 films: 11 short animations, 7 feature-length documentaries and 15 feature-length fiction films.

Selected films from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, The Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Spain and UK bring you the opportunity to travel around Europe without having to spend a lot of money for transport, schengen visa, and accommodation. All screenings are open for public, for FREE.

Please take note that we only have limited seats for 45 audience. Tickets are available only 1 hour prior to screening. Make sure you come early to get yours. Cinema door is closed 10 minutes after the screening schedule.

We also welcome you to contribute to the sustainability of kineforum. Donation box is available on the info desk.

Europe on Screen is a film festival showcasing European films, which are not released commercially in Asia. It was organized for the first time in 1990 as “EU Film Festival”, initiated by the European Union. From 2003, the festival is held annually under the banner of “Europe on Screen”. Starting 2012, Indonesian Film Center was trusted to program and organize the festival.
